Last night at Jones Beach, a triple-bill featuring Widespread Panic, Umphrey’s McGee and Tauk took place and as you’d expect, there were plenty of collaborations as Joel Cummins started things off by joining Tauk for their set on a cover of “I Want You (She’s So Heavy).” The song also appeared on UM’s latest The London Session.

While Umphrey’s didn’t have any sit-ins, the band did rely on some choice live cuts as they delivered “Robot World” with the new fan-favorite “Cigarette Cables” vocal Jimmy Stewart. The band also tore through versions of “Ringo,” “All in Time” and “40’s Theme,” along with newer tunes “No Diablo” and “Hourglass.”

Widespread Panic’s headlining set stretched over eleven songs, with versions of “Pigeons,” “Diner” and the newer “Cease Fire” all included, among others. For the finale, the band brought out Jake Cinninger, Joel Cummins and Andy Farag for a cover of Funkadelic’s “Red Hot Mama.” Watch that performance below.

The Panic/UM run continues tonight at Stage AE in Pittsburgh, PA.
