Last night New York’s Brooklyn Bowl hosted the album release party for Buy This Fracking Album. The evening featured performances from a number of musicians featured on the album including Amy Helm, Marco Benevento, Rusted Root’s Michael Glabicki, The Mike + Ruthy Band, Kristen Graves, DJ Logic, as well as special guests Author and Activist Wenonah Hauter of Food & Water Watch, and Actress/Activist Gina Belafonte.

The evening was hosted by Pete Seeger’s grandson Kitama Cahill-Jackson. God Street Wine guitarist Aaron Maxwell sat in with Marco Benevento for his entire set.

Benevento opened his show with “Freakin Frack,” a new original featured on the album written by his bassist Dave Dreiwitz (who sang lead vocals on the track.” The set also included “At The Show,” “If I Get To See You At All,” “Limbs of a Pine,” “The Real Morning Party,” The Rolling Stones’ “Let’s Spend The Night Together” and “Coyote Hearing.” Then, the evening’s cast returned to the stage for a sing-along version of “This Land Is Your Land.”
