Good sign. We ran into Phil Lesh at the airport! #thieverycorporation #gratefuldead pic.twitter.com/VLgnZBLHFJ

Thievery Corporation are taking requests for tonight’s Grateful Dead tribute show at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago. The band posted a tweet earlier this week telling fans to post their suggestions with the hashtag #ThieveryDeadRequest. As you can see above, Thievery Corporation were lucky enough to run into the Phil Lesh at the airport today, so maybe you’ll be lucky enough to get your request played.
Tonight’s concert will also include an opening set from Beats Antique, who just debuted their take the Grateful Dead’s “New Speedway Boogie.” Give the new cover—which features Preservation Hall Jazz Band’s Clint Maedgen on sax and vocals—a listen over at Relix.
Any #GratefulDead requests for our show this Thursday in Chicago? Let us know using #ThieveryDeadRequest Tickets: http://t.co/cHiCHHr0h3
