Dave Matthews Band’s summer tour rolled through Clarkston, MI last night, the same venue that will host the H.O.R.D.E. Tour revival on Thursday night. With that in mind, the band invited up old friend and longtime collaborator John Popper to sit in on his signature DMB song, “What Would You Say.”

This marked the Blues Traveler frontman’s first appearance with the group since 2001, when he joined them on the same tune at Dodger Stadium. Popper was a frequent guest throughout the 90s and played on the Under the Table and Dreaming version of the song.

Dave Matthews Band were involved in a couple of H.O.R.D.E. runs themselves, as the group joined the run in 1994 and 1996, respectively. Watch Popper join the band last night in Michigan above.
