Kings of Leon have announced that they will headline the free Jack Daniel’s Bash on Broadway: New Year’s Eve in Music City for 2015, in Nashville, TN.

“I can think of no place I’d rather play New Year’s Eve than at home with 100,000 of my closest friends,” said drummer Nathan Followill.

The bash, which began seven years ago, has been an excellent source of income to the city of Nashville, increasing in size and success each year. In 2014, the event brought in an estimated $17 million in direct visitor spending. President and CEO of the NCVC says he is “honored” to welcome Kings of Leon back to their hometown for the event.

According to the NCVC, the event is expected to bring 150,000 fans to Broadway, the largest crowd size in Nashville concert history, and the biggest Music City New Year’s Eve event to date.

Before returning home to Nashville for New Year’s Eve, Kings of Leon are set to play in Europe between the end of July and early September.
