Umphrey’s McGee and Lettuce wrapped up their joint run last night in Baltimore with one final collaboration after the two joined forces for a cover of “Sledgehammer” the previous night in Philadelphia.
Last night during the encore, Umphrey’s welcomed out Eric Bloom and Nigel Hall, who also sat in during Lettuce’s opening set, for a take on Herbie Hancock’s “Hang Up Your Hangups.” The song originally debuted in the UM realm on New Year’s Eve in Atlanta and has been played a few times since.
Next up for UM is an August 6 show in Buffalo, NY.
