Troy Goode, 30, died Saturday in Southaven, MS following the Widespread Panic concert at Snowden Grove Amphitheater. WMC Action News reports that Goode left the concert in a car with his wife when he began acting erratically. Police then arrived and took Goode into custody.

Family attorney Tim Edwards says Goodes’s wife Kelli claims the police were very aggressive when they arrested Troy, saying they even tied him up. Goode suddenly stopped breathing and was taken to the hospital where he later died.

Investigators are currently looking into his death. DeSoto County Coroner Jeffery Pounders said an autopsy will be performed to determine cause of death. According to Commercial Appeal, Southaven Police Chief Tom Long said, “When officers got to the scene a man was acting erratically from an alleged LSD overdose.”

While the toxicology report is expected in two months, police say it is an ongoing investigation as they try to find out about the alleged overdose including where the drugs came from and who acquired them.

Family attorney Tim Edwards said, “I do know that Baptist reported to Troy’s mother that he was stable and less than two hours later they called and said he’d expired.”

Goode is survived by his wife and child, Kelli and Ryan. A fund has been started in their name. To donate, click here.
