Saxophonist Tim Ries joined Dave Matthews Band last night during their show in Toronto at the Molson Canadian Amphitheater. The sax player teamed up with Rashawn Ross and Jeff Coffin on “Jimi Thing” about midway through the band’s second set.

Ries is best known for touring with the Rolling Stones sporadically since 2003. He most recently shared the stage with the band in 2014. Currently, Ries is in his eighth year as a professor of jazz studies at the University of Toronto.

Next up for DMB is a show at the Centre Bell in Montreal.
