Phish returned to the Shoreline Amphitheater for the first time since 2009 last night for the third show of their summer tour. The evening kicked off with a first set of tour debuts that included a few 3.0 tracks like “The Line,””Kill Devil Falls,” “Yarmouth Road” and “Undermind,” as well as some older tunes like “The Moma Dance,” “Free,” “Reba” and a set-closing “46 Days.”

Phish went big with the improvisation during set two, which opened up with the second-ever rendition of “Blaze On.” The stretched out number segued into an expansive “Twist” that moved into a well-jammed “Light” before finally stopping at “Joy.” The band then continued with solid “Harry Hood” transitioned into “Cavern” to close out the set, and the night wrapped up with a “Character Zero” encore.

Phish will stick around California tonight when they perform at The Forum in Inglewood, CA.
