Stephen Colbert will continue his opening run as host of Late Show with musical guests Pearl Jam, who will perform on September 23. The band is a fitting choice given that Eddie Vedder was one of the musicians who helped David Letterman close his run as host of Late Show.

Pearl Jam don’t have anything to promote, but will hit the road this November in South America. Bassist Jeff Ament has also stated that the band plans on reconvening in the studio with the intent to release a new album in 2016. The band will also appear at New York’s Global Citizen Festival on September 26.

Colbert has lined up an impressive musical slate thus far, including an opening night superjam with house band Jon Batiste and Stay Human as well as performances from Kendrick Lamar and more. Next week, The Dead Weather will return to the stage for the first time in five years and Run the Jewels will collaborate with TV on the Radio. Dan Auerbach will also bring his new band, The Arcs, to Colbert as well on September 25.
