Legendary venue Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel in Providence, RI, will celebrate its 40th anniversary with a series of shows featuring artists that played Lupo’s back in the ’70s.

Although moved a few blocks away from its original location in 2003, Lupo’s has been a staple of the Northeast live music scene for decades. Acts that have walked through Lupo’s doors include Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Hank Williams and many more.

The anniversary event will be held at Lupo’s sister venue, The Met, in Pawtucket, RI, on October 7-11. Artists slotted to play include Max Creek, Duke Robillard, The Schemers, Rizzz, The Young Adults and more.

Ticketing information can be found at Lupo’s website.
