Hank Sullivant, one of the founding members of The Whigs, will reunite with the band for one show in their hometown of Athens, GA, in celebration of the 10th anniversary of their debut album, Give Em All a Big Fat Lip.

The show, which will see Sullivant playing with his fellow original Whigs Parker Gispert and Julian Dorio for only the second time since his departure, will take place at the 40 Watt Club on November 6.

Sullivant was the original bassist for The Whigs but left the band in 2006 and has since gone on to play with bands like MGMT and his own project, Kuroma. In the summer of 2010, he filled in for current bassist Timothy Deaux for one night in Memphis, TN.
