In a recent interview with Amplify, Jason Isbell’s manager Traci Thomas from Thirty Tigers says she will do her best to not work with Ticketmaster again after a bad experience with the company.

Thomas posted on Twitter earlier this week about some trouble she was having with Ticketmaster not releasing pre-order tickets to Isbell’s fan club because of the ticketing company’s restrictions on such orders.

Thomas blame’s Ticketmasters “archaic definition” of fan clubs and says that, going forward, she will try not to book her artists in venues that use Ticketmaster.

“It’s not fair for Ticketmaster to tell an artist how to do their business,” Thomas says. “Last time I checked, people bought tickets to hear Jason play his music, not to see Ticketmaster. And they should not be telling us how to sell tickets to our fanbase.”
