Preservation Hall Jazz Band will return to New York’s The McKittrick Hotel for another run of shows. Their upcoming Halloween-week residency at the venue—which hosts the alternative play Sleep No More as well as several bars and restaurants—will take place from October 27-31. The jazz ensemble promises a “New Orleans style Halloween celebration.”

Preservation Hall Jazz Band have performed at The McKittrick Hotel numerous times during the past two years, including an extended run that celebrated the opening of the venue’s Hall at the Heath in 2013.

The members of Preservation Hall Jazz Band will curate two Preservation Hall Ball festivals in the coming weeks. On Saturday, October 3, the ensemble will host Meshell Ndegeocello, Corey Glover, The Original Pinettes Brass Band, Deacon John Moore, Greg Dulli, Griz, Ivan Neville, Dave Rosser, Bailey Smith, Jocie Adams and other special guests at New Orleans’ Civic Theatre. Then,on November 6, San Francisco, CA’s The Fillmore will host another Preservation Hall Ball featuring Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Ndegocello, Beats Antique and many others. Both shows will benefit the Preservation Hall Foundation.
