Warren Haynes promised some special guests during his stop at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium and delivered as the guitarist continued his Ashes & Dust tour with several sit-ins throughout the one-set show.

Among them, Mickey Raphael of Willie Nelson’s band sat in on “Wanderlust” early on in the show before Nashville musician Chris Stapleton came out for “Where Did You Sleep Last Night?.”

The collaborations kept rolling as Bela Fleck joined the fold for a few tunes, delivering the most extensive sit-in of the evening. Fleck added banjo to “Tough Mama” and “All Along the Watchtower,” the latter of which featured a “Troubled Mind” jam. Raphael then returned for “You Ain’t Going Nowhere” before Haynes welcomed out former ABB bandmate Jack Pearson for “Blue Sky” prior to the “Spots of Time” closer.

For the encore, Haynes and the Ashes & Dust Band brought out Raphael, Pearson and former Old Crow Medicine Show member Gill Landry on the finale of “Get Behind the Mule.”
