Brooklyn’s Moon Hooch aren’t just a raucous drum-and-sax trio, they’re also all big proponents of sustainable agriculture, a fact that they will put on display at New York’s Cathedral of St. John the Divine on October 23.

The night will start out with a cooking demonstration from drummer James Muschler, who has a blog that follows the band’s vegan culinary exploits on tour. Moon Hooch will perform later in the night, which comes as part of the Cathedral’s current art exhibition, “The Value of Food: Sustaining a Green Planet.”

Tickets for the event are available here.
