Neil Young hosted his annual Bridge School Benefit show last night featuring acoustic performances from himself as well as the likes of Ryan Adams, St. Vincent, Gary Clark Jr., Sheryl Crow, Dixie Chicks and Nils Lofgren.

The E Street Band guitarist joined Young and Promise of the Real during their entire nine-song set which included takes on “Hold Back the Tears,” “Mother Earth,” “Southern Man” and others. For the finale of “One of These Days,” Sheryl Crow, Dixie Chicks, St. Vincent, Pegi Young and Gary Clark Jr. all joined in.

During Lofgren’s set at Shoreline Amphitheater, he welcomed out Young to add harmonica for “Believe,” a tune the two have played on previously.

The artists will return tonight for the finale.
