Widespread Panic kicked off their Halloween run at Asheville’s U.S. Cellular Center and got some help from Steep Canyon Rangers’ Nicky Sanders throughout the show before they present their Halloween show typically full of new covers and bustouts.

Sanders joined the band for the closing stanza of the first set which included takes on “Shut Up and Drive,” “Greta,” “Tickle the Truth” and the “Goin’ Out West” finale. Sanders would return in the second set to add fiddle to most of the set including tunes from the band’s new record Street Dogs, “Steven’s Cat,” “Cease Fire” and “Jamais Vu,” among others.

Panic returns to the stage in Asheville tonight.
