Greensky Bluegrass treated the Halloween crowd at the Fox Theater in Oakland, CA to a hefty round of covers last night, including Phish, Elton John, David Bowie and more.

The bluegrass rockers started off their first set by blowing through some usual Greensky live favorites like the opener “What Happened To Jim,” before launching into a “Train Junkie” that included Bowie’s “Space Oddity” and John Williams’ theme to Star Wars before going back into “Junkie” going into the set break.

More covers were in store for the second round of tunes, including Bill Monroe’s “Wheel Hoss” and Elton John’s “Rocket Man.” Greensky also included a throwback to last year’s Phish Chilling, Thrilling Sounds Halloween show by including “Martian Monster.”

The night rounded out with a run of JJ Cale’s classic “After Midnight.” See the full setlist from the show below.
