Karl Denson brought his Tiny Universe to the Brooklyn Bowl last night, turning the venue into an ’80s party by playing Prince tunes all night, including the entirety of his 1980 album Dirty Mind.

Denson started out the night with a traditional Tiny Universe set, getting the party started on stage and ending the run with a rousing “My Baby Likes to Boogaloo.”

Denson and his band then returned to the stage dressed to the nines and welcomed Con Brio’s Ziek McCarter, who would take vocal duties for much of the night. McCarter’s falsetto and suave stage presence stole the show, as he squealed and belted out song after song.

After the album’s songs were done, Denson and crew came back on stage to continue the Prince party with a run of “I Wanna Be Your Lover.” View the full setlist below.
