George Porter Jr. & the Runnin’ Pardners played a private gig in Los Angeles over the weekend that featured Doors guitarist Robby Krieger stopping by to sit in during the end of the first set.

Krieger jammed on tunes like “Cissy Strut,” “Sneakin’ Sally Through the Alley,” “Hey Pocky Way” and “Will It Go Round in Circles.” The occasion marked the first time Krieger and Porter Jr. have performed together.

The show also featured Sal Marquez of Mothers of Invention and The Tonight Show on trumpet. Porter Jr. and the band mixed in covers of “Turn On Your Lovelight,” “Smokestack Lightning” and “Spoonful” as well, along with a slew of Meters classics.
