Dead & Company continued their tour of the Northwest last night at the First Niagara Center in Buffalo, NY, and they brought some debuts with them.

First up was the first run of Chuck Berry’s “Promised Land” to open the concert. The first set also included another cover debut, Marty Robbins’ “El Paso,” before the set-closing run of “Althea” into “U.S. Blues.”

Set number two also opened up with a D&C debut, a “Viola Lee Blues” that allowed John Mayer to dig into some bluesy soloing. See a video of the tune above. The final debut of the night was a “China Doll” that was stuck in between a “Drums>Space”-infused “Dark Star” and set closer “Sugar Magnolia.”
