Foo Fighters have announced today that after yesterday’s attacks on Paris, they will be canceling the remainder of their current European tour.

The press release announcement sums up the band’s feelings toward the fatal events and the circumstances forcing them to cancel the dates, saying “There is no other way to say it. This is crazy and it sucks.”

As Consequence of Sound reports, U2 have also canceled two Paris dates for this weekend, and Coldplay postponed a concert in Los Angeles last night.

Here’s the full release from Foo Fighters:

It is with profound sadness and heartfelt concern for everyone in Paris that we have been forced to announce the cancellation of the rest of our tour. In light of this senseless violence, the closing of borders, and international mourning, we can’t continue right now. There is no other way to say it. This is crazy and it sucks. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who was hurt or who lost a loved one.
