The Doobie Brothers have announced that they will embark on a lengthy joint tour with Journey next year, with dates spanning from May into late August. Singer-songwriter and former Traffic guitarist Dave Mason will also join the tour, which has been dubbed the San Francisco Fest 2016.

The dates kick off on May 12 at Irvine Meadows in Irvine, CA, and will see the two bands steadily make their way across the country during the month, including a stop at the Austin360 Amphitheatre in Austin, TX, on May 18. The tour will head to the Southeast as June begins before making a jump to the Northeast later in the month, including a date at the Nikon at Jones Beach Theatre in Wantagh, NY, on June 27.

The tour’s lone Canada date comes at Toronto’s Molson Canadian Amphitheatre on July 7 before more Northeast dates and another cross-country trek, including an August 20 slot at the Pepsi Center in Denver, CO, and a final two nights in California and a tour-ending date at the Sleep Train Amphitheatre in Chula Vista.

The current Doobie Brothers lineup features founding members Tom Johnston and Pat Simmons, along with John McFee, bassist John Cowan, former Little Feat keyboardist Bill Payne, drummers Tony Pia and Ed Toth and saxophonist Marc Russo.

Tickets for the San Francisco Fest 2016 Tour will go on sale December 5. View the full tour schedule below.
