David Welker, the artist behind the surrealist cover art to Phish’s Rift, is celebrating his first exhibit in New York, Subconscious Narratives at the Hoerle-Guggenheim Gallery, with two events this week.

The first comes on December 30, when Welker is teaming up with Phish’s Mockingbird Foundation to offer a limited edition print of “Rutherford Drowned Again,” which is pictured below. 50 signed and numbered pieces will be available at the gallery starting at noon. All proceeds will go to Mockingbird.

On January 1, the gallery is hosting a Phish after-party featuring an immersive experience with Welker’s exhibition along with beer from Brooklyn Brewery and special guests. Attendees will be entered into a drawing to win a limited edition screen print by Welker. More information is available on the exhibition’s website.
