Last night in San Francisco, Dead & Company returned to the stage with the first of their four-night California New Year’s run and the first of two shows at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium.

After two favorites-filled sets, the band changed it up a bit with a double encore, starting with both Bob Weir and John Mayer grabbing acoustic guitars for a run of “Ripple.”

For their second encore, the group welcomed Blues Traveler’s John Popper to the stage to help with “Casey Jones.” View the final song of the night in the fan-shot video above.
