Legendary Motörhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister passed away last night after a short battle with cancer. The bassist and rock icon had just recently turned 70.

Today, we remember Lemmy by looking back to an interview with him for the Parting Shots section from a spring 2011 issue of Relix Magazine. In it, Kilmister touches on his relationship with his former Hawkwind bandmates, reveals a love of both fantasy and sci-fi literature and remembers the time he was starstruck by meeting ZZ Top.
