The String Cheese Incident’s New Year’s run came to a close with yet another collaboration as the band wrapped up their stint at Broomfield, CO’s 1stBank Center.

To open the second set, Jeremy Salken and Dominic Lalli joined the band for the first two songs of the set, which included Salken on a “Drums” jam and then a collaboration on SCI’s own “Rosie.” This sit-in follows an appearance from Umphrey’s McGee members Brendan Bayliss and Kris Myers, who also came out for “Drums” as well as a cover of Blondie’s “Heart of Glass.”

Also of note is a debut of the Allman Brothers’ “Hot ‘Lanta” late in the first set. The jam included a brief foray into the first “Drums” of the night.

Next up for SCI is a March 10 show in Reno, NV.
