Fresh off his tour with Dead & Company, John Mayer is apparently back at work with bassist Pino Palladino and drummer Steve Jordan, who make up the John Mayer.
Mayer posted a picture of the trio on his Instagram page with the caption “In the studio, day one.” View the post above. In addition to work with the JMT, Mayer also promised more Dead & Company this year.
The trio released one album, Try!, in 2005 and last reunited for a performance on Late Night with Seth Meyers in 2014. Watch a video of them playing at New York’s Bowery Ballroom below.
