The original members of funk legends The Meters will reunited to kick off Jazz Fest this spring at the newly renovated Orpheum Theater in New Orleans, the city that the iconic band calls home.

On April 22, bassist George Porter Jr., keyboardist Art Neville, guitarist Leo Nocentelli and drummer Zigaboo Modeliste will reunite at the Orpheum with special guests including Dumpstaphunk’s Ivan Neville, nephew of Art, and a horn section featuring Tracy Griffin, Jeff Albert, Khris Royal and Clarence Johnson III. The Meters reunited for last year’s New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival after a few years apart.

General ticket sales begin January 15. More ticketing information can be found here.
