The Sunshine Music Festival took over two Florida cities over the weekend, with shows in both St. Petersburg and Boca Raton that featured artists like Tedeschi Trucks Band, Indigo Girls, Hard Working Americans, Karl Denson, Trombone Shorty, Jorma Kaukonen and The Revivalists.

Some notable sit ins occurred over the two days, including Susan Tedeschi joining the Indigo Girls for a song each night. Watch Tedeschi help the group with “Closer to Fine” in the first video below.

Tedeschi Trucks Band also got in on the sit in act, welcoming Jerry Douglas, who was also on the bill with his own band, for a run of “Keep On Growing” that can be view in the second video.

One of the biggest surprises of the festival came during a second-night after party featuring Devon Allman and members of the Gregg Allman Band, who performed under the name Dookey Shoe. Allman’s father, Allman Brothers co-founder Gregg, surprised the audience with a guest appearance, sitting in on “Statesboro Blues” and “Stormy Monday.” Watch the performance of the former in the final video below.
