Anders Osborne has announced that he will release his new album, Spacedust & Ocean Views, later this year via Back On Dumaine Records. The album marks the 12th studio effort for the singer-songwriter and guitarist.

Osborne revealed the first single off Spacedust last month via American Songwriter. “Lafayette” is inspired by his love of Louisiana, the adopted home state of the New Orleans resident.

Osborne is currently on tour and will appear tomorrow at Brooklyn Performing Arts Center in Wilmington, NC. See more tour dates here.

Read a note from Osborne about some of the inspiration behind his music and see the full tracklist for Spacedust below:

“I think one of the main struggles we all face is the separation from unity. I want to understand how I can feel unified with the world and others, with the universe writ large. I can arrange the ideas intellectually but the feeling of longing remains. The whole thing is a mystery, sometimes a sad, baffling mystery and sometimes very enchanting, but overall I just don’t understand and want to desperately. That’s what this music is, an attempt to understand it all.”
