Violent Femmes will return to the road for the first North American dates of their upcoming world tour where they will support their new album We Can Do Anything, due out March 4 (Pandora will launch a stream on February 25). The jaunt gets underway May 2 in Salt Lake City, UT and runs for 17 days before closing in Missoula, MT, strictly sticking to the west coast.

In addition to the tour announcement, the band will appear on Late Show with Stephen Colbert on February 23 to perform the first single “Memory.” This appearance will mark their first television performance in 16 years.
