moe. staked claim to Baltimore, MD’s Rams Head Live over the weekend and delivered a pair of notable performances including a pair of locally-themed tributes on each night.

Starting on opening night, the group brought out Cris Jacobs of Baltimore outfit The Bridge for “Happy Hour Hero” to kick off the second set. Jacobs joined guitarist Al Schnier and Chuch Garvey to add a new layer to the tune.

On the second night, moe. paid tribute to the Baltimore-based The Wire, one of the most popular television shows ever, with the show’s theme song “Way Down in the Hole” by Tom Waits. This was a debut for the band. The Wire ended after five seasons in 2008.
