The Disco Biscuits returned to the stage last night with a two-set show at the AURA Music & Arts Festival in Live Oak, FL, making it a rare weekend in Florida where two music festivals are taking place, as the inaugural Okeechobee Festival continues several hundred miles south.

The set kicked off with a pair of tunes with Tom Hamilton, as he joined in for the Grateful Dead’s “Scarlet Begonias” and the traditional tune also covered by the Dead, “I Know You Rider.” Later in the set, the band welcomed out Natalie Cressman and Jen Hartswick of Trey Anastasio Band to add horns and vocals to a cover of the Lipps Inc. hit “Funky Town.”

The group will next hit the stage on March 25 at the Capitol Theatre.
