Umphrey’s McGee’s west coast spring tour continued last night with a stop at Portland’s Crystal Ballroom. The band opted to deliver some of their more obscure cuts, straying away from some of their live staples.

Among the highlights include a first set “Nemo” that saw both Brendan Bayliss and Jake Cinninger join Joel Cummins on keys for the jam. A rare pairing of “Uncle Wally” and the heavier new cut “Hindsight” closed out the first set.

To kick off the second set, the group dug into Ween’s “Transdermal Celebration” for the first time since their God Boner set at Summer Camp 2015 which saw the group fronted by Gene Ween. Along with stapled like “Triple Wide” and “1348,” the band also peppered in newer tunes “Speak Up” and “Piranahas” in the second set to go along with the “Educated Guess” second set closer.

The band returns to the Crystall Ballroom tonight.
