After their first two nights at the Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas were highlighted by some special covers, The String Cheese Incident closed out their run with a three-set affair that saw the band play an acoustic set to kick off the evening.
Joined by Michael Kang collaborator Jack Rajca of Fishbone Graphics on mandolin, the group delivered four tunes early on in an acoustic format including “Lester Had a Coconut,” “Blue Ridge Cabin Home,” “Crosseyed Possum” and “Temperance Reel.”
They would return after a short break for two sets that included takes on Cheese staples like “Let’s Go Outside,” “BollyMunster,” “Outside Inside” and a take on the Allmans’ “Jessica.” Before the encore closer of “Restless Wind,” the band also delivered their rendition of Paul Simon’s “Late in the Evening.”
