Throughout The River tour, Bruce Springsteen has taken the opportunity in the first encore spot to deliver a special performance, with notables including tributes to the late David Bowie and Glenn Frey. Last night in Seattle, Springsteen once again continued that trend with a collaboration with Eddie Vedder on his Born in the U.S.A. track “Bobby Jean.”

The two rock icons have collaborated numerous times in the past, including at Springsteen’s 2012 Wrigley Field show where Vedder joined in on “Atlantic City” and the appropriate selection “My Hometown.” They also shared the stage to cover AC/DC’s “Highway to Hell” with Tom Morello and Springsteen’s own “Darkness on the Egde of Town” in Australia in 2014.

The River tour continues March 28 with a makeup date at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY.
