Jazz collective Snarky Puppy will release their eleventh album and first true studio album in eight years on April 29 via GroundUP Music/Universal Music Classics. Dubbed Culcha Vulcha, the record finds the group visiting the remote Donic Ranch Studios in Tornillo, TX for a week, which spawned nine new tracks.

The new album follows Family Dinner Volume Two which featured cameos from the likes of David Crosby, Jeff Coffin, Laura Mvula and others. Their collaboration with the Metropole Orkest, Sylva, earned the band a Grammy for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album as well.

Snarky Puppy will kick off a tour beginning April 28 with a slot at New Orleans’ Jazz Fest and will also make appearances at venues across the Northeast and Midwest before heading overseas for a run that begins July 8.
