Fleet Foxes were last heard from with their second studio effort, 2011’s Helplessness Blues, which will celebrate its five-year anniversary next month. Now, the band is apparently planning a long-awaited comeback from their hiatus.

As Consequence of Sound reports, the band’s Christian Wargo recently said in an interview that he and frontman Robin Pecknold, who is currently on tour opening for Joanna Newsom, discussed the reunion at a recent Newsom concert in LA.

“It’s not, like, ‘announced’ or anything, and none of us really knew it was coming, but it’s happening,” says Wargo. “Possibly unofficially at this stage, but it’s definitely a thing.”
