Darkside’s Dave Harrington will unveil his new Dave Harrington Group on April 14 at a special album release party for his new project, Become Alive, due out April 15.

At Brooklyn’s National Sawdust, Harrington along with longtime collaborators Will Epstein, William Shore, Nate Sloan, Andrew Fox, Tiacael Esparaza and Samer Ghadry, will provide a live improvised score to a screening of Seiju Suzuki’s 1967 film Branded to Kill. The film was recently adapted for the stage and scored by Harrington.

The following night, the group will have more of a proper album release party at Trans Pecos in Queens with Harrington teaming with Fox, Epstein, Nate Sloan and Samer Ghadry, who will perform songs off of the new record.

In addition, the band will hit the road for four shows in Europe including stops in London, Copenhagen, Belgrade and Paris, FRA’s We Love Green Festival. Consult the full schedule below.
