Magnolia Fest has announced that is will not be returning to the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park this year and will instead hold a shorter event in St. Augustine.

The festival’s 20th anniversary celebration will be a one-day affair at the St. Augustine Amphitheater on October 15 with a pre-party on October 14. A statement released by festival organizers cites “rising costs for talent, production and the inability to negotiate a deal with the Spirit of the Suwannee” as the reasons for the change.

“Magnolia Fest has been a magical experience for years and a place for family and friends to come together every fall to enjoy some of the best music in the country. Always cherish those memories.”

More details are expected soon. Last year’s Magnolia Fest featured Tedeschi Trucks Band, The Avett Brothers, Keller Williams’ Grateful Gospel, Lake Street Dive and more.
