Coachella kicked off its first weekend of festivities last night, and it seems that the festival’s organizers might be planning something even bigger in Indio, CA.

As the Los Angeles Times reports, Goldenvoice, the LA promoting company that is part of AEG Live and is associated with Coachella, has tentatively scheduled a three-day festival that would bring together the Hall of Fame lineup of The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, The Who, Paul McCartney, Neil Young and Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters on October 7–9 in Indio.

According to the Times‘ sources, the first day would feature Dylan and the Stones, the second would feature Young and McCartney and the final day would have The Who and Waters close out the festival, and each of the legendary artists’ slots would be regular, full performances, as opposed to usual shorter festival sets.

It would be the first time that the six acts have shared a bill. Young’s manager Elliot Roberts tells the Times, “It’s so special in so many ways. You won’t get a chance to see a bill like this, perhaps ever again. It’s a show I look forward to more than any show in a long time.”
