Legendary singer-songwriter Paul Simon has a new album due out June 3 and an extensive tour slated to kick off April 29 at New Orleans’ Jazz Fest and will wrap up with a two-night run in Forest Hills, NY, Simon’s childhood neighborhood where he befriended former musical counterpart Art Garfunkel.

In a new interview with Rolling Stone, Simon details his plans for the upcoming tour, which will feature smaller venues than his previous run with Sting. “This one, I’m playing a lot of 4,000-seat theaters,” Simon says. “We’re also doing a couple of festival and things just to make enough money to play the smaller theaters.” He also explained that, while he will be playing some new songs from his upcoming album, Stranger to Stranger, he promises to bring out the fan favorites as well. “They wanna hear ‘You Can Call Me Al.’ So I play it. It’s not like I would pick out ‘You Can Call Me Al’ and play it because I really want to, but people like it so much that I’m like, ‘Of course I’ll do it.’ I’ll play ‘Me and Julio [Down by the Schoolyard]’ too, though I actually like ‘Me and Julio.’”

Simon also had some words about a possible reunion with Garfunkel, with whom he last played in 2010. “No, out of the question,” Simon says. “We don’t even talk.” Garfunkel stirred up some controversy last year when he called Simon a “jerk” in an interview with The Telegraph, saying that he “created a monster.”
