New York alt-jamband RANA have announced they will play a rare performance at Brooklyn Bowl on June 18 as part of the venue’s farewell party for longtime employee Peter Costello, who has worked with the band over the years.

Formed in Princeton, NJ, RANA—guitarist Scott Metzger, bassist Andrew Southern, drummer Ryan Thornton and keyboardist Matt Durant—served as one of the Wetlands’ house bands in its later years and also had close ties with Phish lyricist Tom Marshall.
RANA have only played a couple public shows since 2010, including last fall with Joe Russo in Brooklyn. Watch a video from that performance below.
