The Barr Brothers and Marco Benevento came together for a special gig at Levon Helm’s Studio in Woodstock, NY on Friday night.

Among the highlights included Benevento, who resides not far from the famed Woodstock studio, welcomed out some friends including Simi Stone, Adrien Reju, Anni Krueger and his wife KT Benevento for a performance of “Heavy Metal Floating Upstream.” The Joe Russo’s Almost Dead keyboardist then brought his daughters, Ila and Ruby, out to help their Dad with a cover of David Bowie’s “Starman.”

The Barr Brothers then hit the stage for a lengthy set that included Benevento, who plays in Surprise Me Mr. Davis with Andrew and Brad Barr, sitting in on selections like “The Devil’s Harp,” “Come in the Water,” Bob Dylan’s “Crash On the Levee (Down In the Flood)” and “Cloud” towards the end of the set.
