My Morning Jacket rounded out their two-night hometown run at the Iroquois Amphitheater in Louisville, KY, last night with an extended encore that feature nods to two late legends, including a debut cover of a David Bowie tune.

The set proper kicked off with “Victory Dance” before launching into a career-spanning collection of songs, from “In Its Infancy (The Waterfall) and “Believe (Nobody Knows) off of last year’s The Waterfall all the way back to “I Will Be There When You Die” from the Jacket’s 1999 debut, The Tennessee Fire.

For the encore, the group welcomed out members of Twin Lamb, who opened the show, for Prince’s “Raspberry Beret,” which the Jacket debuted after his death last month. The members returned to the stage three songs later for the MMJ debut of David Bowie’s “Young Americans,” a clip of which can be seen above, and the band once again nodded to the Purple One with the first cover of his “I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man” since 2012.
