Steve Kimock and Friends headlined Sweetwater Music Hall on May 13 and were joined by the venue’s co-owner as Bob Weir came out for a few tunes along the way.

As Deadheadland reports, Kimock, who was flanked by Jeff Chimenti, Bobby Vega, Jay Lane and Leslie Mendelson, welcomed out Weir to lead the band on tunes like “Queen Jane Approximately” and “Dancing in the Street,” which also saw Weir’s childhood friend and bandmate Matthew Kelly (an original RatDog member) join in. Later in the second set, Sunshine Becker added vocals to “Ancient Astronauts,” a new Jay Lane original.
