Legendary rocker Neil Young has been busy lately, sharing the stage with old friend Stephen Stills, fending off snarky words from another bandmate, David Crosby, following Young’s comments on Donald Trump’s usage of his “Rockin’ in the Free World” and also promoting his new album, EARTH, which will be released on June 17. The latter task brought him to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night to discuss a few things close to his heart.

Young discussed his new, experimental album, his political views and his own music streaming player, PONO with Colbert, and the host brought Young into a sketch that included the Late Show “intern,” Corn Man, who is a genetically modified organism (GMO), a practice which Young is decidedly against. After the show, Colbert caught up with Young one last time to briefly discuss his feelings toward Trump and Sanders using his famous tune in their campaigns.
