Saturday at Summer Camp found Umphrey’s McGee playing a pair of shows at the festival including an early afternoon set in the church for VIP ticketholders. Among the highlights in that one-set show was a rare take on “The Weight Around” and “Sludge & Death” as well as a Joel-only cover of Led Zeppelin’s “Thank You” for the first time since 2001.

When the band hit the stage later that night, they got some help from Fishbone guitarist Rocky George, who replaced Brendan Bayliss on guitar for “Puppet String” before Bayliss took over the controls once again prior to the tune bleeding into “Wizard Burial Ground.”

The band’s second set was full of some of their heaviest hitters including “All in Time,” “Ringo,” “1348” and “Nothing Too Fancy.” In the encore, prior to finishing “All in Time,” the band dipped into the Mark Ronson tune “Daffodils” for just the fourth time ever.
